We’re a Recipe Mail Club inspired by my mom, Sue, and her lifetime of cooking, kitchen wisdom, and recipes worth keeping. When you become a member, a little piece of Sue’s kitchen arrives in your mailbox each month — beautifully printed recipes, stories, tips, and other little surprises to enjoy, use, and keep.

Every month brings a new selection from Sue’s kitchen. Each mailing is designed to feel personal and special — something you’ll look forward to finding in your mailbox.

A large-format envelope is sent each month, so pages stay nice and flat (not folded). Each mailing contains:

• Two recipes, each beautifully laid out across one or two full-size pages (8.5 ×11-inch)

• A personal letter from us, sharing stories like we’re sitting together at the kitchen table

• Kitchen wisdom and secrets, directly from Sue, it’s what makes her cooking and baking so good

• Collectible recipes, each identified by the Collection name and recipe number

• Quality heavy paper, for the recipes to be kept and collected

• Occasional little surprises, tucked inside for you to enjoy

• A joyful feeling, of a little gift from one kitchen friend to another

Sue’s Secrets is sent out monthly. A new mailing is sent at the beginning of each month.

The recipes are organized into several different collections, for example, soups are part of the Soup Pot Collection, while mains are part of the Comfort Kitchen Collection.

There are seven collections in total and you’ll want to collect them all!

Typically, we rotate the collection types each month, so overtime you’ll see each collection type grow, forming a wonderful overall Sue’s Secrets collection.

Yes! Each mailing features new recipes, stories, and surprises. It’s meant to be fun and to keep you guessing about what’s coming next!

Mail is sent at the beginning of each month. Delivery time depends on your location and the postal service, so arrival dates may vary. Canadian and American members can generally expect their envelope to arrive within the first 5-7 business days of the month. International mail may take between 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the destination.

We send Sue’s Secrets to members throughout Canada, USA, and around the world.

No, sorry. The recipes included in the Recipe Mail Club are created specifically to be mailed to members. That’s part of what makes Sue’s Secrets special — these are recipes to receive, cook, keep, and build a collection of over time.

Yes! A Sue’s Secrets membership makes a lovely gift for anyone who enjoys cooking, collecting recipes, or receiving something special in the mail. When subscribing, simply use the mailing address where you would like to have Sue’s Secrets sent.

Of course! You can cancel your membership at any time. Your cancellation will stop future renewals, and you would still receive any mailings that have already been paid.

Because each monthly mailing is specially prepared and printed for members, payments for mailings that have already been processed or mailed are non-refundable.

The recipes are printed on 8.5 × 11 inch pages, so they’re easy to read, store, and add to your recipe collection.

Absolutely. The 8.5 × 11-inch format is designed with keeping and collecting your recipes in mind. Over time, you can watch your Sue’s Secrets collection grow and keep all your recipes together in a binder or another special place.

We don’t hole-punch the pages, so you can choose how you’d like to store them. We recommend sliding them into a plastic sheet protector, which can then be added to your recipe binder.
